Renee's first paid gig, singing a cappella in a gorilla suit was great training for stand-up comedy. Years ago when life kicked her around just a little too much, a friend and colleague said to her "hey, you're funny and you need to be heard by more than just the people you share pigs in the blanket with at cocktail parties! "Acting since the age of 17, Renee went to college, grad school, became a teacher and then she embarked on the most important career of her life: motherhood. Renee's original humor talks about life as a single menopausal mom raising three man children, growing up in a family nourished by Hungry Man dinners and Lean Cuisine, dating in the age of technology, and coming to grips with living in suburbia when in high school she envisioned herself living in Greenwich Village as a beat poet. Her animated style and nifty dance moves bring her standup to life. Renee performs her comedy in NJ and NY at comedy clubs, country clubs, fundraisers, private parties and social events.
